X and Y are now friends on Facebook” - That’s the message displayed in your Facebook profile each time you add a new friend on Facebook or someone else confirms your pending request.

But the reverse is not true - you will never know when existing friends remove you from their Facebook friends list. The count of your friends will decrease but Facebook won’t reveal the name of the person who just unfriended you.

You can however play detective using a Facebook app called Unfriender - this will let you know when friends quietly remove as a connection on Facebook. They are extending the alerts to email and SMS as well.

The only downside is that Unfriender works only with friends that you have added after installing the Facebook application. Thanks Josh.

The problems started early Thursday morning, November 29th, around 11am EST. I noticed as I was trying to log in, it kept kicking me out. Being a Digital Point addict, and the fact I have three banner contests currently running, I was a bit disappointed. I’ve been hearing through the grapevine that Shawn, Digital Points’ owner, has been having trouble with the server off and on lately.

Given the traffic that huge SEO site takes in, I can easily see why. In the meantime, we’ll all just have to kick back and wait for it to come back online. Keep checking http://forums.digitalpoint.com every couple of hours, until we can get back to all of our white, grey and black hat marketing and SEO

Sometimes you feel lost on the bigger Torent search sites like mininova and piratebay. Well, no longer, mate! Enter PickyPirate, a mashup website that matches scores from review compilation sites Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes to download links from torrent search sites The Pirate Bay and Mininova. Pickypirate does the review process well. You might see it get overrun with spammed reviews sooner or later, but for the time being, it’s the place to go.

While waiting for my client to patch up to 2.3 yesterday, I decided to pop over to xtremetop100.com and check out the World of Warcraft private server listings. I figured I’d give it a go. Aggamagan has been real slow on retail lately, so what the hell. I clicked through the banner on top100 and landed at a nice little CSS page with all the info I need to connect. ( WaMMO Landing Page ).

I registered on the forums, signed up for a account on their Shadowburn server and downloaded the Launcher they provide to help you connect. It was all pretty seamless.

Game play was smooth and fluid. The rates were decent enough that I was level 10 within an hour or so. I had an issue with a quest, and submitted a ticket. I almost had a heart attack when a GM (Game Master) popped over within 3 minutes to help me complete the quest! Even on retail I have to wait close to 5 hours for a ticket to be answered!

Other players were very nice, even helping me with some gold and bags. I’m impressed. I think I might just stop playing retail and move onto private servers for good.
